Today I share you how to cook Kabsah Rice. Okay, turn on the music... weeehooo!
Ingredients
750g rice
4 tbsp oil
1 onion, slice
4 cloves of garlic, slice
7 cardamon pods
3 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
1 tbsp coriander powder
0.5 tbsp cumin
0.5 tbsp black pepper powder
A pinch of syaibah (Middle Eastern spice)
2 tomatoes, chop
1 kg beef or chicken, clean and dice
Water
Salt
Step 1: Heat oil pot and fry onion, garlic until smells good.
Step 2: Add in the tomatoes and spices.
Step 3: Stir for a few minutes and add beef/chicken and water. Simmer until meat is tender. You can add more water if needed.
Finally mix in the rice and salt. Simmer until cooked.
Voila!!! Now you can do the belly dancing... Hahahaha!
