Marcel Nguyen Germany Gymnast



Marcel Nguyen, born on 08.09.1987 in Munich and began his gymnastics career at the age of four at the parent-child gymnastics. With seven years, he joined the department of TSV Unterhaching turn, where he began under coach Richard Hörle with regular exercise.

Azizulhasni Awang


Career highlight

Awang became the first Asian cyclist to win a World Championship medal when he won silver in the sprint in 2009. The achievement earned him Malaysia's Sportsman of the Year award. In 2010 he won world silver behind Sir Chris Hoy in the keirin.

Other career

The Melbourne-based cyclist carried the Malaysian flag at the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Olympics. In Beijing, he finished eighth in the sprint, 10th in the keirin and seventh in the team sprint. He is known as the Pocket Rocketman because of his small stature.

Did you know?

A 20cm wooden splinter pierced through his calf when he suffered a heavy fall at a World Cup event in Manchester in February 2011. Awang got up to finish third in the race but then needed surgery to remove the huge shard of wood from his leg.

Resepi Rendang Tok 2012


Rendang Tok



BAHAN-BAHAN
  1. 1 setengah kg Daging Lembu dipotong dadu sebesar 5 cm atau 2 inci.
  2. 150 gram Bawang Merah
  3. 120 gram Bawang Putih
  4. 150 gram Halia dimayang.
Huruf Bold Italic hendaklah DIHIRIS
BAHAN GILING
  1. 2 sudu besar penuh serbuk Ketumbar.
  2. 2 sudu besar serbuk Cili
  3. 1 sudu teh Jintan Putih
  4. 1 sudu teh Jintan Manis
  5. 1/2 sudu teh Lada Hitam
  6. 10 biji Buah Pelaga
  7. 10 kuntum Bunga Cengkih
  8. 5cm Kulit Kayu Manis
  9. 1 sudu teh Serbuk Kunyit
  10. 1/2 biji Kelapa Parut untuk Kerisik
  11. 1/2 bji Kelapa Muda Keras, dibuang kulit, arinya dipotong nipis kira-kira 5cm atau 2 inci.
  12. 5 biji Kelapa Parut (ambil PATI SANTAN SAHAJA)
  13. 3 sudu teh garam atau mengikut selera anda.
Hidangan Rendang Tok Tradisi ini untuk proses penyediaan saya anggarkan dalam 20 mint dan untuk memasaknya kira-kira 2 hingga 3 setengah jam.
Untuk mula membuatya, perasakan Daging Lembu tadi dengan bahan yang saya suruh dihiris tadi bersama dengan BAHAN GILING, KERISIK, Kelapa Hiris dan Pati Santan, kemudian perapkan selama sejam.
Kemudian, masukkan bahan-bahan yang telah diperapkan ke dalam periuk dan didihkan perlahan-lahan. Didihkan selama lebih kurang dua jam sambil dikacau selalu hingga daging tadi empuk atau lembut serta berwarna agak kehitaman dan kering.

Untuk mengelakkan daging dan kuah dari melekat di periuk, kacau terus menerus dan apabila kuah tu hampir kering, masukkan garam secukup rasa anda. Selepas itu ia siap untuk dihidangkan dengan Nasi Impit pun boleh nak makan dengan nasi pun boleh. Tapi kalau di Perak sedapnya cecah dengan Ketupat Daun Palas.
Untuk pengetahuan anda, Rendang Tok masyhur dihidangkan di Majlis Kenduri Perkahwinan dan perayaan orang Melayu. Sebagai hidangan menyambut perayaan seperti Aidilfitri dan Aidiladha juga ia dihidangkan dengan ketupat. Selepas di masak ia boleh disimpan didalam peti ais selama lebih kurang seminggu. Cubalah…
